1. The magnificent Halo Bay Show water music project on the occasion of National Day
On the evening of August 30, 2025, the Halo Bay Show water music project was officially opened in Bai Chay ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh. This is one of the new cultural and entertainment highlights of the city next to the heritage bay, expected to contribute to promoting the night-time economy, while bringing diverse and interesting experiences to local residents as well as domestic and foreign tourists.
The Halo Bay Show is built right in the center of the 11-hectare landscape lake in the Halong Marina urban area, with a design aiming to become an "every night meeting place" that cannot be missed. The show is completely free and is held three times per night, respectively at 20:00 - 20:20, 20:50 - 21:10 and 21:40 - 22:00, to create favorable conditions for all audiences to enjoy.

The special feature of Halo Bay Show is the synchronous combination of sound, light, brilliant LED screen and modern water spray technology. The performances are staged according to different music themes, bringing vivid, eye-catching and emotional artistic performances. Each performance is a blend of modern technology and artistic elements, promising to create unforgettable moments for viewers.
At the opening ceremony, Halo Bay Show was honored by the Vietnam Record Organization with three impressive national records. The first is the spray system that creates the highest water column in Vietnam, reaching 90m - equivalent to the height of a 26 - 27-storey building. Second, the most "cannon" compressed air spray system, which can create water columns 40 - 50m high. Finally, the largest stainless steel buoy system with 170 buoys, with a total load capacity of up to 50 tons, contributes to the stability and spectacular effects of the program.

These technical achievements have helped Halo Bay Show become one of the most modern and magnificent water music works in Vietnam. The entire project was designed by Kume Design Asia, located in the center of the landscape lake park on Hoang Quoc Viet Street - a vital route connecting urban areas, commercial centers and key utilities of Quang Ninh.
Not only an entertainment highlight, Halo Bay Show was also chosen by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Propaganda Department and the Mass Mobilization Department of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee as a project to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). The project not only demonstrates the spirit of innovation in urban development but also demonstrates the effort to improve the quality of life, bringing cultural, entertainment and unique experiences to the community and visitors.

2.1. Program "Quang Ninh - Journey of 80 years of brilliance with the country"
The program "Quang Ninh - Journey of 80 years of brilliance with the country" takes place at 8:10 p.m. on August 29 at Sun Carnival Square (Bai Chay Ward) and is broadcast live on channels and digital platforms of Quang Ninh Newspaper and Radio - Television.
The stage is divided into two parts: "Epic of the Mining Land" and "Quang Ninh Rising with the Country", combining many art forms such as singing, dancing, choreography, poetry and commentary. The highlight of the program is the participation of leading singers such as Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Trong Tan, Ho Quynh Huong, Dong Hung along with singing groups, choirs and dancesport groups, bringing a heroic, vibrant and energetic atmosphere to the audience.
